Why strip and seal floors?

Un-repairable damage can easily be done to an unsealed floor simply by daily walking on the vinyl. Small particles of dirt stick to the soles of shoes/feet, causing friction when walking on an unsealed surface.

Over time this will wear down the original finish on the floor, removing the colour and pattern on the vinyl. When you strip and seal a floor it does not prevent this wearing down of your floor but it will prevent the damage to the original finish.

At Strata, we will work with you to provide the best solution for your individual floor and have the experience to recommend the cycle of resealing required to maintain the standard of your floor over many years.
